Tektronix WFM601A
The WFM601A provides accurate real-time monitoring for creative adjustment of component signal levels and timing on source and processing equipment. The WFM601A is designed for use in camera control and video graphics applications to assure that the desired creative effects reach the viewer. It accepts two serial digital component input signals and displays the selected signal in traditional, easy-to-analyze component analog form.
Technology innovations improve the accuracy and ease-of-use of the WFM601A and include:
Bright line select display: Allows waveform analysis of the three components (RGB or Y/Pb/Pr) that will be displayed in the same line.
Arrowhead display of video signal composite domain gamut limits: Illustrates how a created video signal will translate into a composite signal for final transmission to a viewer. The creative operator will use this display to assure that intended color and luminance values can be maintained through storage and transmission systems.
