Pouya Zand

I am the Lead Video Engineer at SoCal Rentals and have been with the company since 2018. I have a couple decades of experience in the broadcast and production industry, beginning in live sports broadcasting for professional tennis, MLB, and NBA productions before transitioning into studio production, where I served as EIC on countless multi-camera shows.

Outside of work, I enjoy gaming on my PC, where I regularly test my patience against bosses that seem determined to keep me stuck. I’m also a self-taught hobbyist game developer and have created educational games for my 2 boys.

My areas of expertise include broadcast and production systems, IT infrastructure and networking, and live event engineering. I specialize in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting technical workflows that support both live event productions and studio environments.
