Sam Weissen

I serve as Head of FP&A at SoCal Rentals, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis. I have more than 25 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a background that spans operational accounting, financial planning, and strategic decision-making. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of industries, helping organizations improve financial performance, streamline processes, and support growth through data-driven insights.

One of my favorite parts of the job is turning numbers into meaningful stories that help drive better business decisions. Outside of work, I enjoy competing in Excel Esports competitions and finding new ways to solve complex business problems through data and analysis. I'm also an avid guitarist and enjoy exploring the history of rock music and guitar technique. When I'm not working with spreadsheets or playing guitar, I enjoy reading, gardening, and spending time with my family.
